It
has been our responsibility since 1988 to keep
the roads safe for your families and ours, first
in the Central Cariboo and now in the South Peace.
We
maintain over 2460 kilometers of road & 95 bridges
in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Caribou
Road's service area runs from the Alberta Border
to the Mackenzie Junction south of the Pine Pass.
And from the Peace River to Tumbler Ridge.
The roads in the South Peace include major transportation
routes that service the oil, logging, tourism,
mining, gas industry and the agricultural producers.
Well maintained roads ensure the safe, swift delivery
of goods and services to and from the South Peace
region. A large portion of the road system is
gravel which increases the maintenance requirements
of grading, dust control and stabilization activities.
 Our
mission is to provide a safe, well maintained
highway system for the traveling public in the
South Peace. Our job includes activities such
as grading, ditching, mowing, snow plowing, sanding,
de-icing, patrolling, debris removal and bridge
work. We're your road and bridge maintenance specialists.
